[edit] Plot
Lionel is mysteriously shot at the Luthor mansion, leaving behind a huge list of suspects with various but strong motives to want him dead. The lead suspect is Jonathan, who is found unconscious in his truck with a bottle of vodka and a gun in his hand. Clark is convinced that Jonathan was framed; he and Lana ask Henry Small, a former criminal attorney, to help him out but he refuses to represent Jonathan due to some past history with Lionel.
