Susannah Corbett

Susannah Corbett (born 1968) is a British actress, the daughter of Steptoe and Son star Harry H. Corbett.
Her training took place at East 15 Acting School, London and she built her career the slow way. Her first major role was in the ITV series Peak Practice as a cystic fibrosis sufferer, Vanessa Machin (series 3, episode 15). She is best known for her role as Ellie Pascoe, wife of one of the title characters in Dalziel and Pascoe, a popular BBC television drama series based on Reginald Hill's novels. She appeared in the series regularly between 1996 and 2000, returning for a guest appearance in 2005.

Corbett lives in a cottage in Ashburnham, East Sussex, that her father bought when she was 11. After her father's death, her mother Maureen discovered her late husband had left her to raise their daughter and son Jonathan, with little money.
