Surgut Bridge across the Ob River is a cable-stayed bridge which vies with Khanty-Mansiysk Bridge for the title of the longest in Siberia. The 2,200-meter-long bridge has only one tower. Its central span of 408 meters is the longest unsupported span in the world. The bridge was inaugurated in September 2000.
