Dr. Surendra Kumar Jain was the third president of the Bajrang Dal after Vinay Katiyar and Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya. He is a medical doctor; before becoming a full-time pracharak, or preacher, in the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, he was a millionaire. He was succeeded as president of Bajrang Dal by Prakash Sharma on 12 June 2002. He graduated from the Sriram College in New Delhi, India. He is now the all-India secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
