Here's a typical Toronto surveillance camera, near the outskirts of the city, in a kind of suburban area, as viewed during sunset.
I took this picture for use in a February 1995 article on the "gas stove analogy" of privacy.
The picture appearing here in the Wikipedia is a low resolution downsampled, cropped image, but the picture can be obtained, at higher resolution, by following the link at end of the above mentioned "gas stove analogy" article.
