Civility?
You just left a message at my talk page, asking me to be civil at User talk:64.12.116.201. I presume you take offense to my making mention of Talk:Most of the admins who delete my messages probably have anal warts on their anus. I would like to ask you to follow that link, and see that that is a nonsense talk page that the IP created. I have deleted that talk page, and I have told the user behind the IP not to create such nonsense talk pages. Also, if you would check my most recent contributions, you will see that this IP does not stand on its own. Someone using AOL (so someone with a dynamic IP) is currently creating all kinds of nonsense articles. I appreciate your efforts for civility, and I fully subscribe to it, but I would like to ask you to make sure you don't confuse my admin activities with incivility. Image:2005 Atlantic hurricane season map.png
I just uploaded an up-to-date version at an even higher res. I was able to achieve this res by basically taking screenshots of the .pdf file version of this image at high magnification, combining them and saving them as .png in Macromedia Fireworks, and then optimizing their file size in Photoshop. --tomf688{talk} 00:18, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
2006 Pacific hurricane season
In the timeline of the 2006 Pacific hurricane season, why did you take out the time when the central and eastern pacific basin begin its hurricane season? To my opinion, I think it would be better if we left it there. Alastor Moody 22:09, June 3 2006 (UTC)
Attacking Others
Oh, I am sorry, I was just talking with a friend. I wasn't really attacking him, i was just kidding around. I'm sorry if you thought I was attacking him and just wanted to tell you that I didn't really mean anything I said. Sorry for the trouble. Russian Sage 777 18:58, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, Russian Sage 777 and I are good friends. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Some of our programs are about people but not people on Wikipedia. Usually, it's about the people at our school and since we are new programers and are still getting the hang of it, we thought we'ed try some new things. I like to make Jordan mad sometimes and we like the same music so I make fun of him and say that he spelt this song name wrong (when he didn't) and plus, hes way smarter than me. Hi, yes, that's absolutely fine. Use whatever bits you want. I'm glad you like the layout! – Gurch 18:15, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Re: Question about edit count
Unfortunately, the tool server that used to supply the edit count no longer keeps data for the English Wikipedia. Instead, you have to use this javascript program. Hope that helps. JRawle (Talk) 21:38, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- The javascript counter just tells you your total number of edits, which is what the old counter used to do. You still need to watch it regularly when you are approaching the nth edit to see which it is. JRawle (Talk) 00:38, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

- So, there's really no easy way of finding my nth edit if I made it a long time ago (i.e. I have 2000+ edits now, and I want to find my 500th and 1000th edits)?

- As I am trying to revise my user page design, I still want the stuff that is already there to remain there. However, I am having trouble fitting these templates into my user page revision properly. They are infoboxes like the ones used as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Tropical cyclones. I want to put them into the section (properly) titled Tropical Cyclones WikiProject — Tropical Cyclone Tracking Center.
- User page revision: User:Super-Magician/revise
- Templates I want to fit in: User:Super-Magician/StormStatus and User:Super-Magician/StormStatusNone (please use the last one for testing because it does not need parameters) without the titles at the top of the infobox
- I assume that you have a lot of experience in "wikicoding," and so I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance! — Super-Magician (talk • contribs • count) ★ 13:56, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi again, I see you've been adapting the design, and thanks for crediting me on the calendar template. As far as the infoboxes are concerned, do you want the titles removing from the templates themselves, or do you just want them to appear in your userpage without titles?
Also, is it OK if I go ahead and edit User:Super-Magician/revise? I don't have much time right now, but I can make some changes later – if you like, I can do some other things, such as changing the Subpage Index to a list of your subpages, at the same time – Gurch 18:29, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
User page redesign
OK, I've added optional parameters to User:Super-Magician/StormStatus and User:Super-Magician/StormStatusNone so that you can choose whether to have the title displayed or not. To show the title, just use {{User:Super-Magician/StormStatus}}, and to hide the title, use {{User:Super-Magician/StormStatus|NoHeader}}. I've included the no-header version of User:Super-Magician/StormStatusNone in User:Super-Magician/revise. The templates now have "(edit)" links, clicking these will let you edit them directly.
I've also added links to your edit milestones, updated the subpage list, and added a vandalism counter and wikistress meter to the sidebar. If you need anything else, let me know – Gurch 15:00, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
