Eliano Stamatov (Bulgarian: Елиано Стаматов) is a Bulgarian wikipedian.

According to Stamatov, his mother tongue is Bulgarian, and he considers it to be the same language as Macedonian. In addition, he rates his level of English as advanced, claims to know French moderately, and to have a basic knowledge of Russian.[1]

Eliano was born in Hadji Dimitar, a small suburb of Sofia, Bulgaria to economists Mariana Ray and George Stamatov in 1988.

[edit] Childhood (1988-2000)

Eliano Stamatov had a happy childhood. At that time he was naive and idealistic. Life was great fun for him, since his worldview was, in his words absolute optimism. In other words, he used to take the best and the maximum of life. One of the reasons of his happiness was not watching television news or reading newspapers. He didn’t even use to read any newspapers, because, in his words, a newspaper is nothing, compared to a good book.[2] From 1992 to 1994, Stamatov was in kindergarten. He met his first girlfriend there. A new era started in 1995, with Stamatov’s first year in school. Eliano's first school was the local school of his quarter. It was near to his home so he walked by foot to the school's building. He had a wonderful time with his classmates, used to go out every day and had an enviable social life. Stamatov was satisfied with being a pre-teen, but not everything was wonderful. His aunt’s death in 1996 provoked some bad emotions. However, in 1997 everything came on its place for Eliano. He was excellent in school (only As and rarely Bs) and had a normal social life. From 1995 to 1997, Eliano's best friend was called Blagovest. In 1998 and 1999 life was great fun for Stamatov. After Blagovest left the school, Eliano became best friend with two boys, called Svetlin and Tzvetan. Eliano was popular with girls, however, he wasn’t a complete jock, because he didn’t join the school football team.

[edit] Adolescence (2001-2006)

Despite having the perfect childhood, Eliano had a stormy adolescence. In late 2001, he moved to another school and he 'lost' connection with his then classmates, most notably with his then-best friends, Svetlin and Tzvetan. In late 2002, Eliano's maternal grandmother, Elena, died from a brain stroke and this make him fall into a deep depression. However, 2003 proved to be a good year for him - hi took his French exam successfully and he visited two summer courses - an English language and a PC skills one. 2004 and 2005 were not good for him. No friends, no discos, no going out anymore. However, this era ended in 2006, when Eliano 'rediscovered' himself and became much more self-aware and confident.

[edit] Manhood (2007-present)

As he turned 18, most things changed for Eliano. He changed his life view completely. After 3 years (2003-2006) of changing hobbies and values, he decided to drop some hobbies in favor of others. Eliano decided he better live his own life and stop being obsessed with celebrity gossip. He even stopped reading biographies and trivia about celebrities, as he discovered he don't care about them. Eliano started going out just for fun every day again after almost a 5-year 'break' and currently has an enviable social life. He prefers going out to staying at home. Eliano Stamatov likes being occupied with himself instead of being occupied with others. He is going to finish 12th grade in 2007.

  • User 213.240.234.212 is actually Eliano Stamatov (Superboy88). This is one of his IP addresses and he doesn't hide it. Stamatov also used some other wikipedian usernames: Michael Stanton and Eliano Spiderman. Both, however, were dropped because they were too long and Eliano forgot their passwords.
  • Eliano is currently studying in high-school.

  • In addition to listening, Eliano enjoys singing. He has even recorded song samples on his computer. Stamatov is good at dancing, too.
  • Stamatov believes he is quite good at acting and is currently seeking any possibility to star in a movie.
  • Eliano Stamatov had two photo sessions in 2005 and two in 2006.
