Superior Saturday is a character in the Keys to the Kingdom series by Garth Nix, portraying a young boy (Arthur Penhaligon) destined to be the 'heir' to the Keys. His right to the keys was clearly stated in the Will of the Architect, also known as Dame Primus (the Will, not the Architect). Superior Saturday is one of the Seven Trustees chosen by the Architect to help Her do certain things within the House, epicentre of the universe and first Creation of the Architect. When the Architect disappeared, She left behind a Will, stating what was to happen to the Keys to the Kingdom, and with it, the mastery of each demense of the House. Into Saturday's trust She placed the care of the Sixth Key, and with it the Mastery of the Upper House, "until such time that a suitable heir comes and claims the Key, and with it, the Mastery of the Upper House." It was also stated that Saturday was the most superior Denizen of the Upper House. Defying the Architect, Saturday retained her hold of the Sixth Key, and with the help of Lord Sunday, assigned the mastery of the other dimenses of the House to the other Trustees, called Mister Monday, Grim Tuesday, (Duchess) Drowned Wednesday, Sir Thursday and Lady Friday. She serves directly under Sunday, and is likely the most powerful Denizen, but not being, in the House. As shown in the first four novels in the series, Saturday was the one doing most of the plotting against Arthur, her latest move being the planting of the Skinless Boy (a certain type of Nithling called a Spirit-Eater) into the Secondary Realm Earth (our world), using it to control the minds of Arthur's family and friends and to prevent Arthur from returning to Earth.

The actual book, Superior Saturday, is still yet to come out. Lady Friday, however, is predicted to hit the bookstores in March 2007.
