Superior is a village in Douglas County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 500 at the 2000 census. The village is located within the Town of Superior and is just south of and adjacent to the City of Superior.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 500 people, 209 households, and 158 families residing in the village. The population density was 155.7/km² (404.7/mi²). There were 210 housing units at an average density of 65.4/km² (170.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 96.80% White, 0.60% Black or African American, 1.00% Native American, 1.20% Asian, 0.20% from other races, and 0.20% from two or more races. 0.20% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 209 households out of which 30.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.2% were married couples living together, 10.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.4% were non-families. 20.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.39 and the average family size was 2.76.
In the village the population was spread out with 21.0% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 25.4% from 25 to 44, 28.6% from 45 to 64, and 16.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females there were 94.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.5 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $42,778, and the median income for a family was $50,385. Males had a median income of $34,722 versus $20,625 for females. The per capita income for the village was $20,328. About 2.7% of families and 3.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including none of those under the age of eighteen or sixty-five or over.
