[edit] Gameplay

Columns, a popular and much-imitated falling colored blocks puzzle, had been the pack-in game with Game Gear at one time. Super Columns enhanced the gameplay by adding new types of blocks, as well as the ability to turn the lines of blocks a la Tetris. Aside from the usual standard mode and flash mode, Super Columns also introduced a story mode, wherein you could play against the computer.

[edit] Release for Palm

Sega has released a version for Palm handhelds and is distributing it through Sega.com.
