Sunset Ridge Middle School is located in West Jordan, Utah, in Salt Lake City's southwest suburbs.

Sunset Ridge opened in 2005, drawing most of its students from the West Hills Middle School which had reached its maximum size. In 2005, almost 85% of the students are bussed to the school.

Sunset Ridge's mascot is a Falcon. Its colors are maroon, silver, and black.
