Suna Yılmaz

Suna Yılmaz (1972) is a Turkish female mountaineer and one of the four woman summiters of Mount Everest from Turkey.

She was born on July 4, 1972 in Ankara, Turkey. Suna graduated from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara with a BS degree in Mathematcs. Working as a computer networking specialist in the computing center of the same university, she continues her education in sports and physical training for her MA degree.

She was a member of the Turkish expedition team comprising of six men and four women, who all summited Mount Everest. Suna reached the peak with the second group on May 24, 2006.
