Sun Java System Web Proxy Server is a freely available HTTP 1.1 proxy server that can proxy HTTP 1.0, HTTP1.1 and CONNECT (SSL) requests. It can also serve as a gateway for FTP and SSL servers. The proxy server can also serve as a reverse proxy or a load balancer.

It was formerly known as Sun ONE WebProxy Server and IPlanet WebProxy Server.
