Sun Chen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sun Chen minister of the Kingdom of Wu during the Three Kingdoms Period of China. Sun Chen was the cousin of Sun Jun. Sun Chen soon on grew a very strong ambition to seize control of the entire military of Wu, in which he assassinated Teng Yin to realize this desire. Sun Chen followed in the dethronement of Sun Liang and somewhat supported the next emperor of Wu, Sun Xiu. However, Ding Feng not long later executed Sun Chen through the orders of Sun Xiu. This event initially came to fruition through a banquet that was set by Sun Xiu in which Sun Chen foolishly fell for (just like numerous others throughout the Three Kingdoms). Sun Xiu also made sure to kill off Sun Chen's family as well to not risk the chance of another uprising.
