[edit] Duplicating content on WP:CP
There's a weird bug when you try to edit a section/save multiple times/etc. So I just wanted to let you know that you should always verify that your change did what you meant it to do on the page. Specifically, you made 3 edits to WP:CP and duplicated the entire page. Click here for the diff. Cheers CryptoDerk 16:32, Apr 28, 2005 (UTC)
Hi,
Yeah I have been doing some editing and cleaning up on the Kannur article. Though Iam not from Kannur and I dont know much about the place. I was just editing and cleaning up. So I can just help with the article as whole and not in particlular as Iam not a native of Kannur. I hope to continue and make the article better.
Cheerz!

[edit] Kannur
- Please do not place a new post in between sections. I find it hard to follow up. Please use the + sign on the top of the page for a new post.
- A premliminary survey of the article indicates that this is far away from an FA status. I will give my inputs on how it can gain FA status, but as I am editing other articles, I won't be adding any material or copyediting the same at this moment. Please look at Kalimpong, Sikkim and Goa to see what a FA looks like.
- I've made some inputs on the Talk:Kannur page =Nichalp (Talk)= 08:26, May 23, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Payyambalam Beach
Hi,
Isnt Payyambalam Beach the final resting place of E.K. Nayanar. I remember hearing somewhere that a memorial is being built there. So thats an additional point that you can include. Jisha C J 10:43, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Kannur
What happened to the Kannur article? I was hoping it would be the next Indian FA. =Nichalp (Talk)= 08:57, Jun 8, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Kannur
I will be promoting the Kannur article today as the INCOTW. Please show your support and help it become a FA. =Nichalp «Talk»= 07:31, Jun 19, 2005 (UTC)

HI,
The Kannur article was nominated for the COTW. But due to lack of interest of people who voted for its inclusion it has been dropped. I notice no changes from your side on the Kannur article for the past few weeks. Hope to see some speedy action into this. BTW I would be offline for the next 2 weeks or more due some travel. [edit] High courts
That's great work on the High Courts. I plan to work on the article and get it up to Featured Article status, would you be willing to help me out later on?
I notice you keep indenting text like this:
like this
The problem with this is that it creates an annoying horizontal scrollbar for many users. Best not to use it. If you want to indent then use the colon " : " . And you can sign your posts with four tildes or ~~~~ so that people can get to you. Thanks! User:Nichalp/sg 15:25, September 10, 2005 (UTC)
- I'd be more than happy to help you out.
- Ok you got the four tildes ~~~~ right.
- To post a new message on a Talk page, click on the + sign on top.
- To reply to a message click the [edit] button on the right, and reply by using the colon ( : ) sign. That will indent your response. see the following in the edit mode.
Lion
:Tiger
::Elephant
:::Cow
:Monkey
This is displayed as:
Lion
- Tiger (using a single colon); commenting on Lion
- Elephant (using a double colon); commenting on Tiger
- Cow; commenting on Elephant
- Elephant (using a double colon); commenting on Tiger
- Monkey, Commenting on Lion again
No, your post was not formatted correctly. Please do not leave a space between the left-margin and the first word you type. Start typing immediately from the left margin.
I'll try and work on the High courts and submit to you for your approval and suggestions. User:Nichalp/sg 09:34, September 11, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Kannur
Hi, I will surely do my bit with the Kannur article but was disappointed when it was not promoted to FA status. Iam planning to start reading and cleaning up Constitution of India as it happens to be on the pending tasks list. Jisha C J 03:32, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
- Hi Sumalsn! First of all, I wish to thank you warmly for your support at my RfA and your kind words. They really mean a lot to me . Thanks!
- As for your request to help you with this article, I'm flattered that you ask me to lend a hand to improve it. I'm not familiar with the subject, but please, allow me to read it in detail and I'll see what I can do. At first sight, it looks great, but the first idea I had is that maybe it lacks a little of illustrative quality. Maybe a few more pictures could be helpful. I'll get back to you as soon as I review it. Be aware, though, that I'm a little busy right now, so most likely it'll take me a couple of days to reach a conclusion. Hugs, and thank you again! [edit] Malappuram
It was nice to receive your message. Nice article, I shall surely contribute to the article. In case, you have one or two pictures of the place, please upload them and place them suitably in the article. Anyway, I shall try to give some inputs at the earliest. --Bhadani 14:31, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Kannur
There's still a lot to be done with Kannur. I can guide you towards the FA path. First I'll need to see your references. Where is the info taken from? (Mention the URLs, book names) User:Nichalp/sg 18:16, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

Hi Sumal, The community needs your help. There is no article on Indian Copyright Act. I think, this is one of the reasons which led to issues with the template PD-IndiaGov [(this is for deletion) can you please help us in building this article? --Aravind Parvatikar 08:08, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

- Thank you for your help. Well, there is no article which talk about copyright in India. [edit] Kannur
Hello Sumalsn! I got your notice on my talk page. Making a featured article on wikipedia isnt all that easy. We have very few featured articles from India even. I've been trying to raise the status of Kochi for sometime now, too. But I'll contribute to the Kannur article and we can try to raise its standard. Cheerios! thunderboltz 15:15, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hello again! I'm not really sure about the Kannur page. What exactly is it about? The town or the district? thunderboltza.k.a.Deepu_Joseph |TALK
