Summerfolk

Summerfolk is an annual folk festival held near Owen Sound, Ontario, on the third weekend in August.

The festival was founded in 1975 by the Grey-Bruce Arts Council, led by Tim and John Harrison. Since then, the festival has steadily grown, each year attracting more people, despite the somewhat obscure locale and poor weather (it has rained 20 of the 31 years so far). It has developed a large following and is an extremely popular event in the area.
