"Summer Rain" (1990) is the second song released by Belinda Carlisle from her third solo album Runaway Horses. It was later covered in 2006 as the debut song by Australian dance act Slinkee Minx.

It missed the Top 20 (#30) in Spring 1990, but spent time in the Top 75 and sold satisfactorily. A dance mix was again a success for Carlisle. It debuted on the ARIA Charts at number forty-two and then moved up nine places to number thirty-three then after two weeks it broke into the top twenty at number seventeen then into the top ten at number ten. After its break into the top ten it went to its peak position in Australia at number six and stayed there for three weeks and spent five weeks in the top twenty after three weeks it fell out of the charts at number forty-nine spending sixteen weeks in the chart.

"Summer Rain" is the best known hit from Australian dance act Slinkee Minx, which debuted at #5 on the Australian ARIA Music Charts. "Summer Rain" was released in the US, UK and Europe across more than 50 countries.
