Sumail is a city in Oman. it is located in Ad Dakhiliyah, close to the Sumail Gap, a break in the Hajar Mountains.

Sumail is home to the the Masjid Mazin bin Ghadouba, the oldest mosque in the Sultanate of Oman. The mosque has been restored on several occasions, and is ancient only in its foundations.
