Sulechów

Sulechów (German: Züllichau) is a town in Poland, in Lubusz Voivodeship, in Zielona Góra County. It has 17,843 inhabitants (2004).

In 1482 Züllichau, together with Sommerfeld, Crossen and Bobersberg became an integral part of Brandenburg under the Elector Albert Achilles. In 1945 eastern Brandenburg was conquered by Soviet Union and handed over to Communist Poland.
