Sukumari(Malayalam :സുകുമാരി) is an Indian actress from Kerala who has primarily acted in Malayalam and Tamil movies. She has been acting for more than 52 years[1] and has acted in different roles and languages. The total number of her movies is presumed to be about 2,000 movies. Even after having entertained generations with diverse tastes, she is still a much sought-after actress.

She has been acting since the age of 10 and she is still actively involved in Films, TV Serials and stage dramas. Most Malayalees and Tamilians are familiar with Sukumari’s role as a mother like Mohan Lal’s mother in Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu.
She received the Padma Shri, one of the top civilian awards of India in 2003.
