Sukma Games

Sukma Games is a sporting event in Malaysia held once every two years. Sukma is an acronym for Sukan Malaysia; literally Malaysian Games. The first Games was held in 1986 in Kuala Lumpur.

- Brunei is the only country visitors contingent of Sukma Games.
- For the first time ever in 2006, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya form Federal Territory team contingent.
- The Northern Territory of Australia has been invited to several Sukma editions. The territory will take part in the 2006 Games.
