Sukma Games

Sukma Games is a sporting event in Malaysia held once every two years. Sukma is an acronym for Sukan Malaysia; literally Malaysian Games. The first Games was held in 1986 in Kuala Lumpur.

Brunei is the only country visitors contingent of Sukma Games.
For the first time ever in 2006, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya form Federal Territory team contingent.
The Northern Territory of Australia has been invited to several Sukma editions. The territory will take part in the 2006 Games.
