SUITE CHIC was a R&B/Hip-Hop super project that debuted on December 18, 2002. Featuring the writing and producing talent of some of Japan's up-and-coming urban stars, SUITE CHIC served as a vehicle to Pop singer, Namie Amuro, who by that time was trying to transition into a credible R&B talent. Since the dissolvement of the project many of its participants have gone on to greater mainstream success. In a late 2005 interview, Namie Amuro stated she would like to have SUITE CHIC make a comeback in 2006, though it hasn't been confirmed and nothing more has been said on the matter.
