[edit] Song history
The single’s non-album track, “Untitled,” is actually a dub mix for a song Khanoda wrote titled “Heaven’s On Its Way”; recorded during sessions in early 1996 for a project Khanoda called “Count To Thr3e and Pray.” [1] Whether this was the working title for Khanoda’s third album before renaming it “The BLACK Bootleg” and later “Fever +Fetish” is not specified since Khanoda abandoned the project several weeks into recording. The original title, however, for “Untitled”--a bass thumping house track in the same vein as Danny Tenaglia, featuring layers of heavy breathing and stereo panned grunts courtesy of Khanoda--was “Heaven’s On Its Way - Sunday Morning Sex Suite.” [2]
