Sudha Ruparell

Sudha Ruparell is a Kenyan currently living in Bangalore, India. She is a daughter of Chamanlal Kamani and married to Ashwin Ruparell.

Her name in Kenyan politics is associated with the Anglo Leasing scam. She was also involved in a 1993 deal in which the government of Kenya bought hundreds of jeeps from Mahindra and Mahindra Limited for use by the police force. Most of them were grounded within a month due to mechanical problems. The jeeps were bought through a company called Kamsons Ltd, which is owned by Chamanlal Kamani and his sons, with Sudha Ruparell as director. It is suspected that the government paid 1 million Kenyan shillings for each jeep.
