Substance is a 1988 Joy Division singles compilation released by Factory Records. It is considered by many to be a companion to New Order's Substance 1987.
The album features a font designed by Peter Saville himself and is available on his website as a free download. It is found under the 'fonts' section on the first page.
Substance reached #7 in the UK upon its release. It also marked Joy Division's one U.S. chart appearance, reaching #146.
