The Sublight Records label was started by Aaron Rintoul in 2004 and is based out of Winnipeg, Canada. "Within 2 years Sublight has gone from spewing out splattered beats fresh from bedrooms where the sun never shines to becoming one of Canada's prime Breakcore outposts" - XLR8R magazine. Sublight has released albums by artists Venetian Snares, Richard Devine, Datach'i, Doormouse, Bong-Ra, Somatic Responses, Fanny, The Gasman, Enduser, The Flashbulb, Nick Forté, Wisp, Belladonnakillz, Dino Felipe and others of the IDM, breakcore, drill and bass fields of experimental electronic music. Sublight's most recent signing is Acrnym, a Glasgow, Scotland-based breakcore musician.
