Stybarrow Dodd is a fell in the Lake District, in England. It lies midway between Great Dodd and Raise on the long chain of hills running all the way north from Helvellyn. It is 843 metres or 2,766 feet high, making it the 21st highest Wainwright. It has a prominence of 68 m, making it a Hewitt.
The fell is of a fairly nondescript appearance, having wide grassy slopes and two tops. It lies at the junction of the main north-south ridge of the Helvellyn range with an eastern offshoot of this ridge, leading to the outlying peak of Green Side. This ridge splits in two at Green Side: one ridge runs northeast to Hart Side whilst the other runs east-southeast over Sheffield Pike and Glenridding Dodd down to Ullswater in Patterdale.
Stybarrow Dodd lies about 1 km north of Sticks Pass, a bridleway that passes from Glennridding in Patterdale to Legburthwaite on the shores of Thirlmere. This pass provides a simple route of ascent to the summit, though the fell is more commonly climbed as part of a long traverse of the Helvellyn range, or in conjunction with the eastern outliers of the range.
