Stuart Layton was born February 13, 1983 in Sandy, Utah. He is the son of Alan S. Layton and Leslie Pope Layton (both of which were born and raised in Utah). At the age of 18 he left Utah and spent the summer in Nauvoo IL. There he aided in the construction of the LDS Temple. Upon the completion of the summer he enrolled at Brigham Young University and started his studies September 2001. He only attended for one semester however. After completing his first semester he left the universtiy for two years inorder to serve as a Missionary for the LDS church. He spent the next two years in various regions of France. Regions where he resided consisted of: Champagne, Southern Parisian Suburb, Brittany, Northern Parisian Suburb, and Normandy. Upon completion of his mission he returned to BYU and began working on his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience. He will graduate with a BS in Neuroscience April 2007. The following September he plans on attending Graduate School and pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience.
