[edit] About this template

Some WikiProjects with very large numbers of articles have found it worthwhile to tag stub articles as {{Stub-Class}} automatically. In the vast majority of cases, a stub article is Stub-Class or {{Start-Class}} at best. There will of course be a small number of false positives but it is felt that the benefits of automation outweigh this negative.

This template is designed to alert readers of a talk page that the article has been tagged automatically and it is hoped and expected that this will encourage editors to assess the article themselves. Thus, bot technology can be used to stimulate human editors.
