Study (room)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A study is a room in a house which is used for paperwork, computer work, or reading. People who operate a home business often do so from a study.
A typical study contains a desk, chair, computer, book shelves or bookcase, and other furniture. A spare bedroom is often utilized as a study, however many modern homes have rooms specifically designated as studies. These are usually located in a convenient area on the main floor of the house and may be referred to as a den or library.
Frequently, but not exclusively, the study of a house that a family lives in is used as the private room of the father [citation needed]. Other times, that room is the garage.
