Stuart Micheal Jones (Born 1963) is a British composer/musician from the city of Birmingham. He is most famous for performing piano most notably in the style of Jazz and Boogie Woogie.

[edit] Early Days
Jones showed immense talent from an early stage in life rebelling to some degree against the traditional method of learning piano, as a school boy he would take pieces like Silent Night and jazz them up in a way that could not fail to impress onlookers. This raw talent eventually led Stuart to turn fully profressional as a musicican aged 17.

Whilst Jones is arguably at his best playing fast boogies his outlook on music is broad and is comfortable performing in many styles. He greatly enjoys composing/playing slow, meditative music when reflecting on the joys or sadness of everyday life and people. Like many artists his feelings and imagination can be very extreme and these dictate what kind of music comes from him.

Jones has enjoyed great success composing/recording classical music for relaxation which has been published and released in 40 different countries world wide.

In Addition to the relaxation Jones has also recorded numerous pieces of music which can be heard regularly on television.

Jones is incredibly well known to many in his local town in Birmingham. For many years he has taught piano and keyboards, passing on to many children and adults alike, the joy of music and in particullar offering them something different to the tradiaional approach of teaching. The likes of Jazz and Funk and not something that most piano tutors offer and that has made Jones very much in demand.

A main area of Jones's work is live shows, the front man of pop/funk band e-motion consisting of backing keyboards from Martin Rowberry alias 'The Sniper', Gig Jones on Rhythm Guitar and Pete on the drums. He has led them on various gigs ranging from stadiums with 100,000 plus spectators to more intimate performances at local venues.

Aside from music he enjoys regular holidays, some of which help to inspire his music. He can often be seen enjoying a break in the county of Somerset.
