I'm not satisfied w/ my word "movement", but i didn't want to say "articulation" bcz that probably restricts the meaning to Arthopoda and Chordata, whereas "lower" phyla and plants deserve inclusion. And as i say in the edit summary, the force exterted, IIRC correctly not just by frost but also by plants belongs if not to the same category as muscular strength, at least to one as distinctly different from strength of materials.
