Stroud, Ontario

Stroud is a village within the town of Innisfil, Ontario, Canada.

At the centre or hub is the Stroud Library, Arena and Community Centre (all the same building) where lacrosse, ice skating, hockey and curling are enjoyed indoors. Outside the back of the facility are 4 junior soccer pitches, and a baseball diamond. Also in the parking lot is a skateboard park. There is an elevator in the facility to go up to the community rooms. There is only one public elementary school in Stroud, and no other public schools. High School students get bussed out to Alcona for schooling.

Stroud is bordered to the south by Barclay, to the east by Lake Simcoe and Alcona, to the north by Georgian Bay and the city of Barrie, to the west by the south end of Barrie and further west is Canadian Forces Base Borden. Stroud consists of 4 subdivisions.
