Strong Arm of The Law is the third studio album by heavy metal band Saxon released in 1980 (see 1980 in music). This was released a few months after the classic Wheels of Steel, debuting on the UK charts at #11.
Together with its predecessor, Strong Arm of The Law is regarded as another Saxon classic. The thrashing "Heavy Metal Thunder" and "20,000 Ft." are fine cuts showcasing the British heavy metal sound, solidifying Saxon as the leading act of the NWOBHM. They subsequently toured and gained success in Britain and Europe.
"Dallas 1 PM" was written about the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
