Strong Arm Steady

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Strong Arm Steady is a hip hop group from the West Coast of the United States. Originally, its members included Xzibit, Phil The Agony, Mitchy Slick, and Krondon. Strong Arm Steady is currently produced by Will Blast. Recently, Xzibit left the group when they signed to Talib Kweli's Blacksmith Records ([1]).The extended Strong Arm Steady family includes West Coast artists such as Self Scientific (Chace Infinite & DJ Khalil), Planet Asia, DJ Truly OdD and Self Allah.

As somewhat of an upcoming prodigy of Xzibit, Strong Arm Steady has focused mostly on independent mixtapes, as well as collaborations with more established artists. In this sense, the S.A.S. gang is truly prolific; the group and its independent members have released countless mixtapes; collaborated with G-Unit, the Cali Agents, and others; and have made several appearances on Talib Kweli's "Right About Now" and "Beautiful Struggle" mixtapes. Most recently, Strong Arm Steady was featured on the song Money Don't Make U Rich from Hi-Tek's 2006 album Hi-Teknology 2: The Chip. Their debut album, "Arms & Hammers", is slated for release some time in 2007.
