Streetlam

Streetlam is a small village or hamlet located 6 miles northwest of Northallerton, the county town of North Yorkshire.
The population of Streetlam is 25. It is situated in rolling fields in the Vale of York, the area of land in between the Pennines and the North York Moors. The main local industry is farming. The only public facility in Streetlam is its telephone box.

The temperature in Streetlam are slightly more extreme than the rest of England's lowlands with the average January high being around 4 °C maximum and around -6 °C minimum, the average for the whole of January is around freezing. Extremes are not unheard of with -14 °C recorded several times in the last decade.
January is comparatively dry compared with other English coastal regions, July highs average 24 °C maximum and around 15 °C minimum, averaging around 19 °C as a whole. July is relatively dry.
