Street Hawk was an American television series that aired for 13 episodes on ABC in 1985. This series was originally planned for the fall of 1984, Mondays at 8:00/7:00 CST. However, ABC changed their minds when a summer series Call to Glory did well and Street Hawk was pushed to mid-season.

Street Hawk was about a police officer named Jessie Mach who was chosen to test a top secret government project called Street Hawk, a high-tech futuristic motorcycle while being officially taken off street duty. The main cast was Rex Smith as Jessie Mach, Joe Regalbuto as Norman Tuttle, Richard Venture as Leo Altobelli and Jeannie Wilson as Rachel Adams.

The show followed the templates of the other television shows of the "futuristic crime-fighting vehicle" genre of 1980s; most notably, Knight Rider, Blue Thunder, and Airwolf. It can also be categorized as a part of the more general "sci-fi crime-fighting" genre of the 1980s such as Automan, or a superhero series due to the lead character having a secret identity, a distinctive costume and a secret headquarters complete with a hidden exit.

The musical theme was composed by Tangerine Dream and appeared on their album Le Parc.

The role of the Street Hawk motorcycle was played by a number of different Honda dirt bikes (information on the exact models is inconsistent) with modifications; cheaper models with smaller engines were used for stunts. The original design was by Andrew Probert, who also designed the Airwolf helicopter and the Enterprise starship for Star Trek: The Next Generation.
