Strathkelvin

Strathkelvin (Srath Chealbhainn in Gaelic) is the strath of the River Kelvin in west central Scotland.

The name Strathkelvin was formerly (1975-96) used for a local government district in the Strathclyde region of Scotland.

In 1996 it was mostly included in the East Dunbartonshire council area.
