Straight From The Lab EP is an unnofficial album by the artist Eminem. It consists of seven tracks that were leaked from Eminem's studio work in between his albums The Eminem Show and Encore, but the artist then released a 40 second soundclip about how somebody who can afford a PC can surely afford to "spend $16 on my CD".

Because the EP is unofficial there is no set tracklisting and often other tracks are added, taken away, or swapped around. Some other tracks added on are 911, Nigga, Tylenol Island and other tracks from earlier in Eminem's career. The track Canabitch/Can-I-Bitch has two names because it can either be interpreted as dissing rival rapper Canabus or his first album (Can-I-Bus).

[edit] Track listing

  1. Monkey See Monkey Do
  2. We As Americans/We Are Americans (Released with added sound effects and some editing as We As Americans on the bonus disc of Eminem's album Encore)
  3. I Love You More (Released on the bonus disc of Eminem's album Encore)
  4. Canabitch (Canibus diss)
  5. Bully
  6. Come On In (Unofficial title derived from a misheard lyric in the chorus. The actual lyric is "good mornin'," not "come on in." Released on the D12 album D12 World as 6 in the Morning)
  7. Doe Ray Me (Original: extended introduction)

In 2003, an album called Straight From The Lab was released in Europe under the Universal Music label with the following track listing (Note: the spellings of the following song titles are not necessarily the same as on the album cover. See below for more info.):

  1. Monkey See Monkey Do
  2. Hellbound
  3. We As Americans
  4. Quitter
  5. Any Man
  6. Nuttin' To Do
  7. Bully
  8. Come On In (See note above)
  9. I Love You More
  10. Don't Appoach Me
  11. Girls
  12. Scary Movies
  13. Doe Ray Me
  14. Canibitch
  15. Turn Me Loose

Though the album had an official and professional appearance, including metallic printing on the cover art, its limited availability, typographical errors, and a mix of both explicit and clean versions of songs suggest that it may be a forgery. The typos may be due to mistypes during translation, although the copyright information on CD label itself contains the phrases "Printed in USA" and "Manufactured in USA."
