[edit] Answer
I've responded to your question on my talk page. —Cleared as filed. 06:01, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
- To be a little clearer - I read the Rampersad article (admins can read deleted articles), and it doesn't say anything about who he was or what he did that makes him deserve an article. So it was deleted. DS 15:21, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Roti (West Indian)
I'm considering merging this to the main Roti article, but as the originator I wanted to give you a chance to respond to this if you have a compelling reason why this should not happen. In my opinion, Roti article is small enough that all this information could be covered there.--Isotope23 13:57, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

- I'm planning on taking the whole text and moving it to Roti under a subsection called "Roti (West Indian)", then waiting a couple of days to make sure the content is stable and doesn't start edit wars (I can't imagine it would). If everything looks good and the info is retained at Roti, then I'll leave a redirect to Roti at Roti (West Indian) a couple of days later. Sound OK to you?--Isotope23 21:22, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Merge complete... take a look and let me know what you think. I copyedited it a bit as well.--Isotope23 19:31, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Great... I'm going to wait a few days and make sure the content is stable and not contested before converting Roti (West Indian) to a redirect.--Isotope23 20:31, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Sox face.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sox face.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:10, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Sox face.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sox face.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 10:22, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
