Stop Climate Chaos
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stop Climate Chaos is a coalition formed by 18 UK environmental and international development organisations and other groups in September 2005 to campaign for government action to halt climate change. The director is Ashok Sinha.
Its aim is to ensure that world leaders act so that greenhouse gas emissions are falling irreversibly by 2015, keeping average global temperature increase to under 2°C (3.6°F).
The coalition organised a public demonstration on the 4th of November 2006 to coincide with the Stern Report and to call on the Labour government to take action on climate change.
