Stoneleigh-Burnham School resulted from the 1968 merger of The Mary A. Burnham School of Northampton, founded in 1878, and the Stoneleigh-Prospect Hill School of Greenfield, founded in 1870. Stoneleigh-Burnham School is a learning community for girls in grades 7-12 and postgraduate with both day and boarding options. Nationally-recognized programs in dance, debate, fine arts, and riding take place on its rural, 100-acre campus.
