Stoke is one of the suburbs of Nelson, New Zealand. It lies roughly between Richmond and Tahunanui. Stoke has a population of around 7000.

Main attractions include:
- A sports ground known as Saxtons Field, which features softball, cricket, soccer and hockey fields and also includes a court for netball and basketball. There is also an archery programme.

Stoke is comprised of the 55-90 demographic and in 1967 was considered as a development site for a purpose built whole town retirement village.
