Stoichkov (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stoichkov is the name of a dutch rock group, founded 2001 in Utrecht, The Netherlands, by three great fans of the Bulgarian football star and today's national trainer Hristo Stoichkov. The music style they play supposed to be, according to them, "turbo rock". All the song lyrics are sung in German. The pilot track of the band from their first album is called "Hristo" - an instrumental, dedicated to their football idol. To this date Stoichkov has two albums.
In April 2005 the band made a tour through Bulgaria, playing in eight towns - Sofia, Burgas, Lovech, Varna, Plovdiv, Shumen, Dobrich and Razgrad. The tour was organized by two Bulgarian underground bands - Pizza and Scandal.
