Stockton is a town in Tooele County, Utah, United States. The population was 443 at the 2000 census.

Stockton is located at 40°27′4″N, 112°21′43″W (40.451052, -112.361977)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.4 km² (0.9 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 443 people, 155 households, and 113 families residing in the town. The population density was 182.0/km² (468.8/mi²). There were 168 housing units at an average density of 69.0/km² (177.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 95.03% White, 0.90% Native American, 0.45% Asian, 2.71% from other races, and 0.90% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.32% of the population.

There were 155 households out of which 35.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.5% were married couples living together, 2.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.5% were non-families. 23.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.86 and the average family size was 3.40.

In the town the population was spread out with 27.8% under the age of 18, 12.2% from 18 to 24, 23.7% from 25 to 44, 23.7% from 45 to 64, and 12.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 109.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 111.9 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $40,938, and the median income for a family was $45,179. Males had a median income of $36,250 versus $25,000 for females. The per capita income for the town was $15,894. About 7.2% of families and 6.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.9% of those under age 18 and 8.9% of those age 65 or over.
