Stockland Townsville is the largest shopping centre located in Townsville, Queensland known as "Stockland" or sometimes "Stockies" locally. In the early 1990s, Stockland Townsville opened as a major upgrade to what was previously known as Nathan Plaza. Stockland Townsville is centrally located in the urban area of Townsville, in the suburb of Aitkenvale. At present, the centre has 160 specialty stores and five major tenants.
