Stockholm-Västerås Airport, also known as Västerås Airport or Hässlö Flygplats (IATA: VSTICAO: ESOW) is located about 100 km (62 mi) west of Stockholm, Sweden.

Travel from the airport to Stockholm Central Station may be done via Flygbussarna, a private bus coach service, and takes approximately one and one-half hours. Tickets cost SEK 130.

In August 2002 the airport was in the news after a man attempted to board a flight to London carrying a handgun and he was arrested on suspicion of attempted hijacking [1].
