[edit] Music video
The music video for "Still in Love with You" was directed by Marcus Sternberg and entirely filmed in Cabo de Gata near Almería, Andalusia, Spain on July 4, 2002. Shot in a time span of eighteen hours, the scenes were primarily shot in and outside a private villa, exclusively provided by its German owners.
The video does not have a substantial plot, but per the band's request, focus is on the summery theme of song, catching the flair of the Spanish landscape, while performing on five different sets (each for one member of the group) in front of the Mediterranean Sea. "Still in Love with You" is the No Angels' only video not include group shots since the mid-tempo ballad doesn't include any choreographed dance seuquences. Instead, the video intercuts scenes of a male guitarist.
Although it was already available for viewing at AOL, the video for "Still in Love with You" premiered on July 26, 2002 at the end of MTV Central's show Brand:Neu.
[edit] Chart performance
Because of its massive sales, "Still in Love with You" managed to debut at number two on the German Top 100 singles chart on August 23, 2002, kept away from the top spot by Herbert Grönemeyer's hit single "Mensch" only. The single remained at number-two for a second week, before it fell down to number three, eventually leaving the top ten in early October 2002. In spite of peaking at number four the song made a similar performance on the Austrian singles chart.
The single became another top twenty hit for the band when it peaked at number eleven on the composite European Official Top 100 chart. While it declined constantly there, the song saw an up and down going trajectory on the World Singles Top 100, eventually peaking at number thirty-six in late October - two month after its first official release. "Still in Love with You" fared better in the official Airplay World 100, reaching its peak position, number twenty-two, in its third week only.
Though being a summer song "Still in Love with You" sold copies until late November, even proving competition with its follow-ups "Let's Go to Bed" and "All Cried Out". In the end the single sold more than 130,000 copies.
