[edit] Welcome to the Wikipedia
Welcome, newcomer!
Here are some useful tips to ease you into the Wikipedia experience:
- First, take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial, and perhaps dabble a bit in the test area.
- When you have some free time, take a look at the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines. They can come in very handy!
- Remember to use a neutral point of view!
- If you need any help, feel free to post a question at the Help Desk
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Also, here are some odds and ends that I find useful from time to time:
- Wikipedia:Policy Library
- Wikipedia:Utilities
- Wikipedia:Cite your sources
- Wikipedia:Verifiability
- Wikipedia:Wikiquette
- Wikipedia:Civility
- Wikipedia:Conflict resolution
- Wikipedia:Brilliant prose
- Wikipedia:Pages needing attention
- Wikipedia:Peer review
- Wikipedia:Bad jokes and other deleted nonsense
- Wikipedia:Village pump
- Wikipedia:Boilerplate text

[edit] TIA/EIA-568B color codes
Thanks for your recent addition to TIA-568A/B. The table and image are very useful.
Unfortunately, the colors represented do not match the standard. Perhaps you could correct the table and drawing? In both the T568A and T568B termination standards (both current in TIA/EIA-568B), there are no color/white conductors - only white/color and solid color.
For example, the T568B termination standard is: white/orange, orange, white/green, blue, white/blue, green, white/brown, brown.

- I recently noticed that you made the same edits, on the RJ45 page, which also needs fixup. dpotter 15:58, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

- You are absolutely right. I had noticed this, but then forgotten about it. The error is common to pretty much all wikipedia articles related to ethernet, as can be seen on the page on the mythical orange-white cable. All that stuff should be merged in one place, really. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Stereo (talk • contribs).
[edit] Awesome
You could have given me a barnstar :P The awesome thing was difficult to format ;) Btw, Userboxes should be "subst"'d. with the exception of babel boxes. See WP:TGS. And if you understood half of what I wrote there you edit Wikipedia too much :) - FrancisTyers · 12:03, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lactose intolerance
I thought you argued well re removal of Lactose intolerance#Lactase-enzyme medication section, given that "citation needed" tags had been lying throughout :-) I found a few more PubMed refs, certainly enough to verify discussion of the various products (pre-hydrolysed, liquid and tablets forms) and how they fit in with overall management approaches. So I have reinserted the section, but with a considerable rewrite - let me know what you think :-) Yours David Ruben Talk 01:38, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
