[edit] New ship table template

I've spent the last few days working on a new ship table template to enable us to centralise the editing of things like weapons outfits for a particular class of ships in one template (so with the Fletchers or Gearings or other big classes you only have to edit in one place to alter a mistake rather than in dozens or hundreds). Please have a look at the WikiProject Ships page's talk section and see what you think. I haven't written the instructions for using it yet, and I want to see whether there are any table cells people would like me to include that aren't present yet. There are two example tables, one with all the optional cells present, and the other with some excluded. David Newton 14:04, 5 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] So you're the one responsible

...and I'd like to say thanks. You gave us Unusual Articles, and all of us bent and twisted people owe you a debt of thanks for leading the way: Image:Oddball barnstar green dark an.gif

Thank you. Thank you so very, very much. -Litefantastic 00:21, 27 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Templates-for-Deletion entry: Template:Musicbrainz wiki box

see Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion#Template:Musicbrainz_wiki_box
This TFD-entry has too few discussion points for me to make a judgement as to consensus. Could you consider providing your opinion as you provided input to the MusicBrainz article back in early 2003? Thanks for considering this. Courtland 01:46, 1 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Nashville user?

I noticed you were trying to get in touch with Lane Wright; sorry, I can't help you there, but did you try the "E-mail this user" link on the left column of his user page?

I'm actually contacting you to get an idea of other Wikipedians around Nashville. I'm compiling a small list of users in the area. Are you in or around Nashville? See also Category:Wikipedians in Tennessee. --J. J. 18:26, 2005 September 6 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply! --J. J. 19:20, 14 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikimedia Canada

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there! -- user:zanimum

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Nucleus ER golgi ex.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Nucleus ER golgi ex.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -SCEhardT 04:41, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
